KEY-USER MANUAL DESCRIPTION - Desktop: Laboratory (WorkFlow)

1. Laboratory Orders page

The Laboratory Orders page displays Patient Details and information which provides details to the selected patient. Lab order and consultation request buttons are on top of the screen. You can also enter comments to the patient.

The Laboratory Monitor / Work List app below provides a work list with all requests to the Laboratory. The Lab Analysis List app right next to it displays the single analyzers requested by the doctor, or consultant. The Patient Services app lists all services to the selected patient.

 

 

1.1 Functions: Patient Details app

 

Search for and select a Patient.

 

1.2 Functions: Order / Other Requests buttons

 

Opens the Lab order entry dialog with pre-defined Service Unit: LAB.

Opens the order entry dialog to send requests to any other Service Unit.

 

1.3 Functions: Cashier / Comment buttons

 

Allows you to enter comments to the patient -> BLUE = no comment, ORANGE = comments available.

 

1.4 Display: Patient Information

 

Displays the patient’s blood group, if recorded.

Display the patient’s gender.

Displays the patient’s VIP status -> turns red when patient is VIP!

 

1.5. Functions: Laboratory Monitor / Work List

 

Edit the selected Lab order.

Cancel the selected Lab order..

Send selected Lab order to LIS.

Print Lab sample label.

Refresh app.

 

1.6 Functions: Lab Analysis List app

 

Cancel selected lab analysis.

Refresh app.

 

1.7 Functions: Patient Services app

 

Filter app according service types.

Add new service.

Refresh app.

2. My Service page:

The My Service page provides details to the selected patient services for the selected case. On top of the screen it provides patient information such as blood group or quantity of diagnosis.

The lower section (left) displays Lab related services (based on the filter settings). The Case Overview app provides a list of cases (= episodes) available. Below the HITS Charge Enquiries app is positioned which displays the corresponding charges based on the case selected.

 

 

2.1. Functions: Patient Details app

Opens the Patient Search dialog.

Filter app according service types.

Add new service.

Refresh app.

Refresh app.

 

2.4. Functions: HIST Charge Enquiries app

 

Display HIST charge details.

Refresh app.

3. Patient Overview –LAB page:

The Patient Overview page provides details to the selected patient, his/her employer and next of kin information as well as a list all episodes of the currently selected patient. The VIP Info button provides you with VIP information provided by HITS.
